Today is International Women’s Day and we are recognising in particular our female colleagues and those who paved the way for women working in architecture, here in Ireland and around the world.

The recently-completed Rock Wing at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin has just been shortlisted for the ‘Building of the Year – Medical and Health’ category at this year’s Building & Architect of the Year Awards.

Work has started on site for the New National Isolation Unit at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, which will be located in the recently completed Rock Wing Building, also designed by Scott Tallon Walker Architects.
