Expertise

Unlike Shannon this project required a visual connection between the controller and aircraft with the inclusion of a 20 meter tower. The 1.0 hectare site located in the townland of Ballygarvan, is on the west side of the airfield. Access to the site is from the airfield perimeter road. The brief required a single storey building containing all necessary administration and staff facilities together with the main mechanical and electrical systems supporting the control tower.
