National Forensic Mental Health Service, Portrane: Finalist at the Irish Construction Excellence Awards

The National Forensic Mental Health Service, Portrane, was recently shortlisted for the Irish Construction Excellence Awards in the 'Architectural Design Excellence – Project Value Over €10m' category.

Thanks to the ICE Awards for this shortlisting, which recognises the quality of project, designed in collaboration with Medical Architecture. The hospital balances onerous security requirements with the creation of a place that would be conducive to healing, with a carefully considered design which enhances service user and staff wellbeing.

Thank you to Irish Construction Excellence Awards for the shortlisting. The project is also included in the 'Project of the Year' category, which is open to public vote. Please vote for NFMHS at the following link by Friday 5th April: https://iceawards.ie/project-of-the-year-award/

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 24th May in Dublin.
