The challenge of building tall offers the opportunity of creative synergy between the full range of the practice’s in house expertise; from urban design to interior design, from the consideration of enduring landmark structures and the interface with the public realm, to the rigour and precision of detailed design.
Highly commended for our entry in the U2 Tower project in Dublin, we were commissioned to design a 130m high Landmark Tower as part of the Point Village project in Dublin’s Docklands.
Our residential expertise, high rise aesthetic and technical capabilities have been combined in the design of the Watchtower . This tower is designed in a disaggregated form, giving it a slender and elegant aspect in the city skyline, and forms a critical element and central feature in our design of the Point Village Development. 150 luxury apartments, bars and restaurants at ground level and a public viewing deck at roof level will make it the tallest building in Ireland when completed.
Our experience covers a broad spectrum of structures including telecommunication masts, public monuments and commercial high rise buildings. Our competition-winning entry for the design of the Air Traffic Control Tower at Dublin Airport will be built in line with the airport's expansion plans.
